A small lithium battery charging board with a USB-C input, sold here in six versions — 2S, 3S or 4S, each at 1A or 2A. You choose one version when you order, and that is the item we ship.
The six versions in this listing:
Version — Cells in series you supply
2S 1A — 2
2S 2A — 2
3S 1A — 3
3S 2A — 3
4S 1A — 4
4S 2A — 4
All six are the same price — RM4.90 each. Each one is a separate item, so order the one that matches your pack.
⭐ Specification
Every version in this listing
– USB-C input. It is in the product name of all six.
– Board size 38 × 18 mm, 5 mm overall thickness, about 5 g
– The version you order fixes the cell count named on the item (2S, 3S or 4S) and the current figure named on the item (1A or 2A)
The 4S 2A board in our product photo
Everything in this block is read off the 4S 2A unit we photographed.
– Bare green PCB, supplied with no enclosure or case. Our photo covers the printed face; the component side of the board is not shown.
– Silkscreen along the bottom edge reads “Lithium battery charger”
– Left edge — battery side: two bare tinned solder pads marked GND (upper) and BAT (lower). Each is a plated through-hole sitting inside a large tinned rectangle — a generous target for hand soldering. Both holes are open; nothing is fitted in them.
– Note the printing on this board is plain “GND” and “BAT”, not “BAT+” and “BAT−”.
– Right edge — input side: two more bare tinned solder pads, marked VIN (top corner) and GND (bottom corner)
– The input marking printed beside those pads reads 3-6V
– A USB-C port is fitted at the right edge, on the face opposite the printing, with its metal shell overhanging the board edge
– Two plated mounting holes, one at each left-hand corner
– Two rows of select pads. A row marked “OUT →” over three pads: 2S / 3S / 4S. A row marked “IN →” over three pads: 1A / 2A / 4A. On this 4S 2A unit the 4S pad and the 2A pad each carry a black blob, and 2S, 3S, 1A and 4A are left as open pads — matching the version on the label.
– The printed face carries no fitted terminal block, no pin header and no socket strip.
🔌 Connector & What Ships
Please read this part before you order.
– USB-C on every version. The USB-C input is named in the product title of all six versions.
– On the photographed 4S 2A board, that USB-C part is a socket — a female receptacle. It is factory-fitted on the face opposite the printing, its metal shell overhangs the right edge, and you plug an ordinary USB-C cable into it.
– On the photographed 4S 2A board, the battery side is two bare solder pads (GND and BAT). Nothing is fitted in them — the plated holes are open.
– On the photographed 4S 2A board, the input pads (VIN and GND) are bare as well. Solder your own wire here if you are not powering it over USB-C.
– We do not supply battery leads, a plug, a header or a terminal block with any version. Plan on soldering your own wires — see Package Includes.
⚒️ Interesting Project
Build a robust portable power bank.
Create a charging system for robots.
Design custom battery packs for projects.
📦 Package Includes:
– 1x charging board, in the version you select — approx. 38 × 18 × 5 mm, about 5 g
This listing is for the board on its own. Not included with any version: no USB-C cable, no power adapter, no battery cells, no cell holder or sled, no battery wires or leads, no pin headers, no screw terminal block, no mounting screws or standoffs, no printed manual. Supply your own.
On the name: “18650” is the cell size named in the listing title. No cells and no cell holder come with it, and the photographed 4S 2A board carries no cradle — the battery connects at the BAT and GND pads.
🧰 What You Also Need
– A soldering iron, solder and hookup wire. Nothing in this listing ships with leads attached, so nothing here is plug-and-play on the battery side.
– Your own cells or pack, wired in series to match the version you order — 2 cells for a 2S version, 3 cells for a 3S, 4 cells for a 4S. No holder, sled or cradle is included with any version, so how you hold and join the cells is your own build.
– A USB-C cable and a USB power source, or your own supply wired to VIN and GND within the input range marked on the board.
– Two screws if you want to bolt it down. Both mounting holes on the photographed 4S 2A board are plated. No screws or standoffs are included.
❓ FAQ
Do I get screw terminals, or do I have to solder?
Plan on soldering. On the 4S 2A board in our photo the battery side is two bare pads marked BAT and GND with nothing fitted in them, and we supply no leads, headers or terminal block with any version. Bring a soldering iron and your own wire.
Can I switch a 4S board to 2S, or a 2A board to 1A?
Please order the version you need. The six versions are sold as six separate items, and the one you order is the one we ship.
The board in the photo has a 4A pad. Can I get a 4A version?
No. This listing carries 1A and 2A versions only. The photographed 4S 2A board has a 4A position printed on its IN row, but there is no 4A version for sale here.
What can I feed into the VIN pads?
Go by the input marking printed on the board itself. On the photographed 4S 2A board that marking reads 3-6V. Do not exceed the figure printed on your board.
Can I take power out of it to run my project, power-bank style?
Do not plan on it. On the photographed 4S 2A board the “OUT →” marking sits above the cell-count row (2S / 3S / 4S), so it is a label for that row of select pads and not a set of output terminals. We sell this as a charging board — the battery connects at the BAT and GND pads.
Which edge is which?
On the photographed 4S 2A board: the USB-C port and the VIN / GND pads share the right edge, and BAT and GND are at the left edge, next to the two mounting holes.
