It’s a quad-band module, meaning it can work on GSM networks across the world (850/900/1800/1900MHz). Getting started is pretty straightforward using standard AT commands over a serial UART interface. Perfect for remote data logging, IoT devices, GPS tracking (when paired with a GPS module), and any project needing to break free from Wi-Fi! This version comes with a helical spring antenna and header pins for easy breadboarding or soldering. Operates typically on 3.7V to 4.2V, making it LiPo battery friendly, but be mindful of its peak current draw (up to 2A) during transmission bursts – a good power supply is key.
