Measure temperature without touching! This GY-906 module features the popular MLX90614 infrared thermopile sensor, allowing you to detect the surface temperature of objects from a distance. It’s super handy for projects where contact isn’t possible or practical, like measuring engine parts, liquids, or even checking for fever without contact. Communicating via the straightforward I2C protocol (using SCL and SDA pins), it’s easy to integrate with common microcontrollers like Arduino or Raspberry Pi. It measures both the ambient temperature around the sensor and the precise temperature of the object it’s pointed at, offering a wide detection range. Comes with a pin header for easy breadboarding.
