A Tower Pro SG90 micro servo in the 180° version (SKU SG90180) — the blue translucent 9 g hobby servo. That is the option in our product photo.
This listing also carries MG90, MG996R and 20KG servo options. Those are different motors, so every SG90 figure below is labelled as the SG90’s and stays there.
Projects we suggest it for: a dancing robot, a pan-tilt camera mount for Arduino, a mini robotic arm with a few degrees of freedom, and an animatronic puppet.

– Rotation: 180°.
– Case: blue translucent plastic, with a moulded mounting flange on each side.
– Lead: three conductors — orange, red, brown — permanently attached to the servo and ending in one fitted connector.

– These are hobby servos for Arduino robotics.
– Wire functions: signal = orange or white, VCC = red, ground = brown or black.

– On the photographed SG90 – 180°: the three conductors run into a single moulded black rectangular 3-way connector housing at the free end of the lead, fitted at the factory.
– That SG90 lead arrives factory-terminated — no bare wire ends, no screw terminal, no solder pads to tin. Nothing on that option needs soldering.

Every option in this listing takes the same three wires — signal, VCC and ground — so every option needs a signal source, a power feed and something to mount it to.
For the SG90 – 180°:
– An Arduino or compatible microcontroller board to drive the signal wire.
– Power on the red (VCC) and brown (ground) pair.
– A bracket, chassis or 3D printed part to bolt the servo into. The case gives you a moulded flange on each side to fasten through.
– A servo extension lead, if your controller sits further away than the attached lead reaches.
 
 
❓ FAQ
Does the 1.3 kg/cm torque apply to every option in this listing?
No. 1.3 kg/cm at 4.8 V is the SG90’s figure, and it is printed on our own SG90 photo. The MG90, MG996R and 20KG options are different motors, and this listing quotes that torque for the SG90 only.
Which wire is which?
Our spec for this listing is signal = orange or white, VCC = red, ground = brown or black. The SG90 in our photo carries the orange / red / brown set.
Do I need to solder anything on the SG90?
No. On the SG90, the 3-wire lead leaves the servo already attached and already terminated in a 3-way connector housing. There is no bare wire and no solder pad on that option.
Which rotation does each model come in?
SG90, MG90 and MG996R come in 180° or 360°. The 20KG comes in 180° or 270°.
Are servo horns and screws included?
No. Every option here ships as a bare servo. Horns and mounting screws are not part of this offer, so budget for them separately if your build needs them.
Is the SG90 the same motor as the MG996R?
No. This is one listing carrying four different models — SG90, MG90, MG996R and 20KG — each with its own part number and its own options. Everything specified above belongs to the SG90.
